Job Description:

You will be working on the next generation of information transmission technologies and AI solutions with hardware engineering. You will be tasked to design, develop and maintain A.I. video analytic systems involving all the hardware and software components.

Job Duties:

• Work with our team of engineers to develop and enhance existing Computer Vision and AI systems including people counting and crowd control technologies. To research and develop a hardware and 5G transmission technology integrating with day and night cameras, artificial intelligence, and video analysis.

• Research on how on-the-edge devices and 5G data transmission technology can be utilised to improve the AI video analytic hardware system.

• Collect and analyse video data in specific sites and from different kinds of cameras

• Research on the latest development of hardware engineering shall improve the overall performance of the AI video analytic hardware systems

Skills/Requirements:

• Graduates of Bachelor, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or other related fields.

• Able to think critically to tackle novel research problems, resilient to failure, and passionate to deploy the solutions into the product.

• Experience in PCB design software, e.g. Altium Designer, EAGLE

• Experience in Embedded System rapid prototyping, e.g. Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi

• Knowledge in C/C#/C++ coding is preferable 

• Knowledge in CAD design software is a plus 

• Experience in people counting and crowd control is desirable but not required.

• Understanding of data structures, data modelling, and software architecture. The experience of working on cloud infrastructures will be helpful.

• Familiarity with software development tools such as Github, and Docker containers.

• Proficient in Python, C/C++.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Candidates without Chinese ability would also be considered. 

• Strong work ethic and passion for learning and contributing to the development 

• Collaborative mindset. Able to collaborate closely and effectively with teams

• Fresh Graduates are welcomed

Job Period

• 12 months contract

• 12 days annual leave

Salary

• HK$ 18,000 - HK$32,000/month

• Raise available prior probation period

• Bonuses available based on performance
